16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour with wispy beige head, thin ring around the glass. Boozy aroma, chocolate fudge. Taste is strong, roasty, chocolate, with the candy sugar giving it notes of cherry, notable chocolate covered cherries. Really nice, smooth, mellow burn.

Glossy black with a tan foam head of moderate height that dies somewhat swiftly.
I'm getting heavy licorice, even red licorice, with butterscotch and a little heat. 12% is way stronger than normal too, it doesn't resemble og BORIS at all.
Taste, at least, exhibits a little more roast, but at times the licorice characteristic turns towards strawberry gummies...? Wayyyy uncharacteristically tangy for the HoFro.
Oof, I'm not sure the Belgian candi sugar and yeast is a complimentary component to big bold BORIS.
