Poured from the 330ml swingtop bottle into a large wine glass. The beer is a deep cherry red, clear when held to light, with a pinkish off-white frothy head of 2 fingers that settles down to 1 finger for a while. Nice looking in the wine glass.

Smell is slightly medicinal with some cherry and raspberry notes, alcohol within, some backing pie crust malt.

Taste: Juicy - plums and cherry mostly. Slight malt backbone that is vague. No trace of alcohol, but there is a slight medicinal note in the finish. A bit cloying after a little while.

Overall: Not bad but not super exciting. I'd say this would be a good dessert beer but there is just something in the finish that is kind of off-putting.

Interesting taste, easily strong, but not very impressed of after tasting. Maybe it's the fruit thing that didn't get me, I can't tell for sure. But it's something that it starts promising, and ends up being mediocre. Anyway, worth a try!
