Bottle: Poured a cloudy light beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice solid malt backbone with light hoppy notes. Taste is very refreshing with some solid malt backbone with notes of floral hops and light citrus finish. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation. Not the most complex beer out there but very well done nonetheless.

341 mL brown bottle, undated. This beer has the Blonde label with a white sticker over it saying "Extra Pâle Ale".
Straw coloured brew with a thick, bubbly white head. Very slight haze.
Lots of fruit in the aroma, ripe pears, with honey and caramel.
Flavour is unusual, with some sharp medicinal phenols and lots of ripe fruit. Some earthy, woody notes. Faintly sweet, with hints of honey. Finishes dry, with a resinous hop bitterness. Body is a bit on the thin side with high carbonation.
I'm having a hard time fitting this beer into a category, but I think that it tastes most like a saison. Definitely not your standard pale ale. Not a bad offering from Les Brasseurs du Hameau, actually.
