Summer in the Truckee/Tahoe region means time on, near and best of all *in* Lake Tahoe. The third beer of our Tahoe series, Tahoe American Lager is a clear, classic, American Craft Lager. As light and refreshing as it gets.

this is honestly excellent, and i know everyone and their brother is making a craft light lager of various persuasions, but this one is clean, crisp, and downright refreshing when frosty color without any of the adjuncty cheapness, metallic finish, or thin feel that so many of these have, really a well made beer, on tap at the source which was a cool place to take this in, and i think better than some of the other light ones they have done in recent years, impeccable crispness and drinkability, snappy without being hoppy really, and drinks like a very refined easy almost neutral lager, not too much pils malt crackery european character, not a lot from the yeast either but this is dry as a bone, tidy as can be, and definitely well lagered, and its not hopped up to be crafty or overly modern or anything, its just balanced without the hops being a real flavor factor, less is rightly more in this. the apparent attention to detail and simple quality ingredients is what makes this, nice cold fermentation i imagine, very flattering water chemistry, and overall its just very well refined. i love the trace of mid palate grain sweetness, then the fast finish aided by high carbonation, this drinks jovial and fast, but its not missing anything, not watered down or bland. seriously delicious basic lager, would crush these if they were available where i live, well done on this, timeless and polished.

Local brew canned on September 18th.
Look: Outstanding. Bright clear yellow, thick white head.
Smell: Decent, pleasant aroma of bread and malt.
Taste: More malt comes through with a delicious bitterness that really grabs you.
Feel: High in mouth. Lots of carbonation.
Overall: This is a super refreshing lager that I can wholeheartedly recommend. Very poundable.
