Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of piney hops, slight alcohol, slight wood, hint of chocolate, and a hint of pale malt. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of piney hops, slight alcohol, slight wood, hint of chocolate, and a hint of pale malt. Overall, weak appearance, good aroma, complexity, body, and blend.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: Dark brown with a beige head.
Smell: Light malts.
Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of sweeter malts. Slight bitter finish.
Overall: Not bad. I am personally not a fan of porters but I was happy to try it.

Very light bodied Porter, hoped for a richer finish.
