i really like the flavor profile of this, really pale wheat with just a hint of herbal lemongrass in the aroma and taste, clean finishing, and just interesting enough to hold my attention through a whole bomber. light and refreshing for summer, but my problem lies in the feel. its almost entirely uncarbonated, and looks and feels nearly still on the tongue. even with these dynamic summer flavors, a beer that feels like this is a mistake. if this were vibrantly carbonated it would be a perfect summer drink, but it just seems watery without it. three barrel has been really hit or miss so far in their limited time on the denver market. some are so interesting an tasty, while others like this one, show so much potential but just have insurmountable glaring flaws. well designed recipe though, i can see this one becoming popular with the bubbles dialed in.
