22oz bomber from the brewery, thanks Dad! Much darker than I would have expected, borderling porter dark. Aroma is light malts. Flavor is a mild maltiness, extremely easy to drink but not noteworthy enough to want to drink more.

this is basically a fat tire type amber, malty but drinkable, not too sweet, and darker in looks than its color. frothy white head, dark brick red body, and a rusty glow in the light. the nose and taste are identical, dry american amber malts, and even though this is mid palate sweetness, it cleans up by the finish. burnt sugars in the middle, even a toffee character, but there is a soapy drying feature to the finish. lots of body for a session beer, but the carbonation makes it okay. the bottle doesnt tell me the abv of this, but im guessing in the 5% range, certainly not much lower. yeast influence in terms of flavor is minimal, but i like the easy drinking nature of this fuller bodied beer. its not real exciting, but at least its not another runny sweet american amber. it reminds me of the old fat tire in many ways.
