Draft at Smokehouse.
Poured clear dark amber hue with an average frothy off-white head that Mostly lasted with good lacing.
Moderate aroma of citrus hops and malt.
Medium body.
Well balanced flavor of malt and hops with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
This is a standout ESB brew.

A: Medium white head. Deep amber color. Low carbonation.
S: Medium hop aroma, smells like cascades. Sweet malt in the background.
T: A very well balanced ESB. Nice, mostly malt taste. Slight roast to the malt. Nice mid-palate hop bitterness. Very enjoyable, but not as good as my favorite ESB, Fuller's.
D: Very high.
