Clear 500ml bottle (Bottle Conditioned) with a thin layer of sediment visable at the base of the beer. Best before 10 Mar 09, drank 24 Jan 09.
Poured into a 'Old Speckled Hen' vase pint glass.
Mahogany brown in colour with very little head, it was an off-white almost tan coloured wisp.
Aroma of malted barley, the label mentions both Cascade and Galena Hops, but I couldn't tell you what they smell like anyway!
No overly impressed and this is the first of three beers from this brewery I am intending to review today (I often drink the beers I review while on line). Malty, but lacking anything else, it isn't in great condition either, a bit flat and bland to be honest.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
