On-tap at THG. Reviewed from notes. Tulip.
Chalky lemon color with bright carbonation but no head. Bright nose with typical Berliner acidity, chalky and mineraly. Flavor up front follows the nose with some very subtle peach sweetness near the finish. Very tart and acidic as expected. Super ultra dry along with tons of gritty tannins. Overall very similar to the original with a strong and bright lemon/citric tartness mixed with very subtle peach.

This was fantastic.
This pours an intense bronze hue with sloppy bubbles that quickly dissipate. I get a slightly sour funk on the nose that translates into an amazing burst of tartness as I sip. There’s a drying sour cherry-lemony zest character, balanced with a subdued bit of funk. Worth the search. The flavor has a hint of horse, some wet hay and funky cheese, with a long finish.
Delicious!

i like this so much better than the base beer, which i found far too sour, super intense and acidic, and hard to drink much of. this is mellowed considerably by the fruit, unless there is a crazy batch variance and i just got a whack batch the first go around. this is hazy and yellow, pale white head, very mild carbonation. the nose is bright and summer from the fruit, peach and apricot are there in the nose, a little of the artificial candy fruit flavor, but it seems for the most part genuine. there isnt much sweetness here, but it definitely mellows out the intense lactic sourness i remember from the mother beer. the peach is there throughout, never letting the acidity get out of control. there is still a hearty pucker in the finish, but it doesnt scorch the tastebuds. lemon from the lacto goes well with the peach, one of the nicer peach sours ive had really. more fluffy feeling too, less pure acidity burn, which is great in this instance, and more funk along with it. carbonation may be a touch low, but its fine without all the acid. prickly feeling still, still a very intensely flavored beer, but far more drinkable than straight tartare.

Nice light peach nose and crisp peach finish, I didn't think they could make Tartare any better but then they added peaches!! , the tartness is perfect. The peaches are screaming through, Spot on example of a Berliner style Weisse, truly topnotch!!!
