On tap at the brewpub where this is the "lightest beer we brew".
Bravo then, for this ale has plenty of flavor and a body that is light but only a touch watery. Near medium carbonation. Hop dominated aroma. Malt dominatd flavor but enough hops to render it balanced rather than sweet. Good accompinament to their fine food. Excellent clarity but linmited head.

A wonderful weekend in Atlanta led me to spend two days within waling distance of this fine pub. Getting to try everything they had was an adventure, but was easily accomplished. Consumed on 07/24/09 and 07/25/09.
Appearance - Poured out about what I would have expected. Bright golden yellow with a big head of white capping off the top of the glass. Quick fade leaves a small bit on the top to settle down and a nice little broken crown along the top.
Smell - The aroma was light, pale grains and a touch of light notes of peach or pear. Not really much defining it though as it warms a light hop notes crosses the nose.
Taste - Carried over pretty much the same from the aroma. Light, grains and light fruits, a touch of grass, nothing really crazy going on here. Smooth and mellow with a light finish and crisp, clean after taste.
Feel - Light body and very carbonated. Pretty nice for the style, but I thought it was a little too carbonated for me and really did not let the flavor sit long enough on the palate to exhibit and real depth.
Drinkability - Very session able and in fact went down akin to water. I would have no issues at all with throwing down a few.
Overall - Overall a solid little ale here. Nothing really crazy or standout about it, but it served its purpose well. I would have no issue with giving it another go round.

It comes out a translucent golden color with a white head. Aroma is crisp and malty with a fruity hint. Flavor is crisp, malty, and subtly sweet; there is just a touch of hoppy bitterness. Overall, not complex or outstanding, but refreshing. Probably a good choice for people who prefer simple lagers.

Taste: Soft, sweet grainy flavor with a floral hop bitterness, all of it reasonably light as expected.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel.
Drinkability: It was a true joy to gulp down a few of these after the obnoxious, vulgar expletive-filled day I had yesterday. Hey, and how come I'm practically the only one reviewing the 5 Seasons North beers?
