Nice floral and woody aroma incorporated into a well executed saison.

Appearance - Pours a reddish brown with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - belgian yeast, clove, spicy hops, bready malts, hint of caramel, woodsy and floral aromas, and hint of candied sugar.
Taste - Belgian yeast and clove followed by the spicy hops. Then it goes quickly into the woodsy, smoky and floral flavours. It finishes with the hint of caramel and candied sugar. The woodsy, smoky, and floral flavours are the predominant flavour.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth with the woodsy, smoky, and floral flavours lingering.
Overall - A different take on the saison style by adding both smoky and floral characteristics. I wish the body had a little more carbonation and the head retention was a little more effervescent. But otherwise, a tasty and good collaboration brew that goes towards a good cause!
