A rare rose color, amazing taste, slightly sour, very heady at 6.9 and come is a 600ml bottle. For me, the mild aftertaste is perfect.
I was surprised that this craft beer is brewed in Vankleek Hill, Ontario, Canada.

600 mL bottle purchased at the LCBO in late summer; dated Jul 9 2018 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a foggy rosé amber colour, producing just over a finger's worth of creamy looking off-white head that seeps off steadily over the next several minutes. A plain collar of foam is the only survivor, with very little lace having been left behind - if it weren't for that unusual hue, this would look downright average. The aroma includes notes of hibiscus, apple flesh and quince tartness, lain atop a base of wheat husk and grainy pale malt sweetness. Subtle hints of coriander also come through, with suggestions of orange and grassy, herbal hops.
Good, clean flavours - it tastes of wheaty grain and pale malt sweetness, which are largely overshadowed by fruity esters of apple and pear, as well by the flowery hibiscus and the mild tartness of the quince juice. There's no citrus in the ingredients, but I'm still getting a hint of orange in there; that's along with the usual coriander coming through towards the tail end, as well as a touch of grassy, herbal hops that nicely complements the spiciness and peppery yeast. Medium in body, leaning towards the lighter side of that category, with zippy carbonation that tickles the surface of the tongue continuously, and remains strong well into the glass. The abv is flawlessly integrated, with no sign of the near-7% whatsoever.
Final Grade: 3.76, a worthy B+. Tagwerk's Witbier with Quince is quite a nice brew - not exactly a traditional witbier by any stretch of the imagination, as it could just as easily be considered a fruit beer. Regardless, this 'rozebier' was an enjoyable variation upon the witbier theme - this was the lone straggler of three bottles I bought back in August, which is saying a lot because it's rare for me to buy multiples of any Beau's one-off. Worth sampling, even for $6 a pop... and if it returns to the LCBO in the future, then I'd certainly consider another go.

Love it! Somewhat sweet but it leaves you with a dry after-taste that makes you ready to drink more... it’s a heady beer though so be careful

Fruity, Floral Quince note coming of a appealing rose, salmon like colour. Medium head retention and light Coriander waking up the nose to explore the expected wit notes, spicy aroma of clove, banana and a dry hibiscus linking dryness with sweetness and a tart finish. Very nice play between sweet, sour and dryness in the finish. Could handle more coriander and carbonation as the bottle conditions. I go for a second one

8oz glass at Beer Revolution YEG Oliver Square - against my better judgment, but it's less riskier than procuring a bomber of this stuff at the ol' bottleshoppe.
This beer appears a hazy, medium salmon orange colour, with a thin cap of wispy and bubbly off-white head, which leaves some random approaching iceshelf profile lace around the glass as it quickly evaporates.
It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, a bit of herbal fruitiness, mildly musty yeast, some coriander and white pepper spiciness, a bit of indistinct tropical fruit, and very tame leafy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, a lesser wan wheatiness, still hard to parse earthy fruity notes, dead estery yeast, muted spice, and more understated leafy, musky, and floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is average in its workaday frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and generally smooth, with nothing really getting into trouble at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the weird fruity character predominating.
Overall - yeah, this isn't bad, but combine my not exactly being over the moon about Beau's house yeast, and the uncommon fruity essences, and I should have just given it a hard pass.

This one caught my eye. Poured into a pilsner it pours russett oragne with minimal collar. Weak nose here of yeast but not much fruit as was hoped. Tastes slightly sour with rich body effeervesances which recirculates the body for a solid finish. This is a collaborative brew between Beaus and Tawgwerk which works well for an entry version. could you drink gallons of it? No, but enjoy for novelty.

600 ml bottle served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for $5.95 CDN. Bottled July 9, 2018. Batch 7444 from Beau's.
Appearance - Pours a cloudy light pinkish coloured beer with a finger plus of medium lasting white head. No lacing to speak of but the vibrant salmon pink colour is attractive.
Smell - Belgian yeast, some herbs and spices with coriander there although the orange and clove is replaced by something more herbal, must be the Quince.
Taste - Mildly sweet at first with restrained bitterness, some coriander and wheat with a mildly bitter herbal element. Booze is well hidden.
Mouthfeel - Medium-light bodied, carbonation is soft and finish is reasonably dry.
Overall - A well executed take on a witbier. Enjoyable, different yet doesn't stray too far from the brief.
