Citrus Blast is a full force of orange and citrus fruits that take center stage! Pouring a straw to light gold colour with a moderate haze, this ale entices with a soft, white foam that invites you to take a splash! The aroma explodes with juicy orange and tangerine notes, complemented by hints of lemon and a subtle touch of tropical fruits.

568 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jun 10 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a golden-yellow colour, its foggy complexion clouded up with countless flecks of flocculent sediment. A little over an inch of soapy white head is situated atop, proceeding to dissipate within three minutes or so. A tight collar and a messy coat of lace are left behind, the latter being refreshed with each sip. I'm getting lemon juice, pink grapefruit and mandarin orange on the nose, with hints of Sicilian lemon, lime-ade, and a touch of pineapple.
"Citrus Blast" is an apt moniker: each sip is a double-barreled blast of citrus flavours from start to finish. Tangerine and grapefruit at the forefront, backed by wheaty, bready pale malts and some pineapple sweetness. The back end adds some lemon rind and lime to the mix, concluding with tangerine and citrus pith bitterness that fades into a citrus peel aftertaste. Medium in body, with lively carbonation throughout the session; very smooth mouthfeel with superb drinkability. Against my better judgment, I think I could drink a couple of these in a row - I'm really digging this citrusy borderline DIPA.
Final Grade: 4.14, an A-. Beau's Juiced AF Citrus Blast delivers exactly what it advertises, and I think it may be my favourite IPA from this brewery - top two, at worst. I'll also add that this seems entirely different from their original Juiced AF - so even if you don't particularly care for Beau's current flagship IPA, I urge you to give this one a fair shake. That is, assuming you can find a fresh stovepipe to try for yourself.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 568mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Date stamped June 10, 2025. My sixth beer from the Vankleek Hill, Ontario brewery, and third for 2025. With Gracie the cat...

Review from notes. 568ml can served into a large pint glass.
Appearance - yellowy gold cloudy beer with a couple fingers of frothy white head. Good staying power.
Smell - Candied pineapple is most prevalent with some other candied citrus. Very sweet aromatically.
Taste - Matches the small, quite sweet, candied pineapple, with some light bitterness coming through. Tangerine is in here as well.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, but fuller than most in the style, a touch sticky and good expressive carbonation.
Overall - Solid IPA, that leans into the candied citrus just a bit too much to make this as enjoyable as say the regular Juiced AF from Beau's. Still worth a try while it's on shelves.
