Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewpub. I was informed by our waiter that this beer was on the nitro pour, and the creamy head showed that, even though it was in a sample glass. Poured out a clear and bright copper-orange color. Strong butterscotch in the aroma and flavor. The beer is light and somewhat crisp with some citrus fruit notes, but watery on the whole. Theres a low, but present hop bitterness inside this light bodied beer. Bittersweet finish. Its not terrible, but I would pass on a second one of these. It was difficult for me to get over the strong butterscotch taste and smell. Did not enjoy this one that much.

King of Prussia, PA location. Served via nitrogen dispense, this ESB delivers a clear copper body with an orange cast and crimson highlights beneath a densely creamy ivory head that refuses to fade and leaves solid walls of thick, creamy lace about the glass. The nose is somewhat restrained by its solid cap, but with a bit of swirling reveals some yeasty fruitiness and a slight touch of buttery diacetyl. The body is medium, and its nitro-carb leaves it creamy and smooth across the palate with just a gentle massage that awakens the tastebuds. The flavor is fruity (with apples, berries, and pears) upfront and caramelish across the middle with a subtle note of diacetyl before its well-balanced bitterness and leafy & grassy hops emerge. Its bitterness, hop flavor, and toffee-ish malt carry over into the drying finish with a slight nuttiness that rounds it out and adds depth. The nitrogen pour really works well with this beer and adds greatly to its apppearance and mouthfeel. Quite enjoyable!

Poured a deep orange with a nice dreamy head that leaves lacing all the way down to the finish, aroma is more malty than anything with some metallic notes. Now the taste was pretty bland till I got down near the end of my glass thats when I finely noticed some nice malty flavors with a light hoppy edge, but why did I have to wait so long to get these flavors?Had a nice creamy feel to it maybe I will come back and try again later but I expected more from this one I guess.

This brew poured a medium head of fine bubbles and left behind a nice lacing as it receded. It has a dark cloudy red brown body and a malty aroma. It tastes bitter initially and after. I was very impressed with it and enjoyed it very much that night.
