Cask @ Real Ale Fest
The beer is pulled from the cask a somewhat hazy amber with a bountiful head that is semi-creamy in texture, the color a nice light tan with the resultant lace a fine covering upon the glass. Nose is sweet malt, clean and pleasing, ah those ESBs, start was sweet and nicely malted, top was moderate in feel. Finish had a personable acidity, the hops masterful and spicy, but not overly so, very dry aftertaste, a fine drinking beer.
