Wont mention what I did for beads with this one on 2/25/2005. 16-oz. pint at the Boston location.
Described as a Golden Lager Brewed With Jalapenos on the chalk board and listed as 4.4% abv. 1/2 inch head settles quickly to a loose but covering sheet and 100% stick. Truly golden hue with clarity like a cloudless sky; tiny tintinnabulation of action. Worrying pepper predominates nose, followed by just a peek-a-boo of light malt backwash. On mouth, the jalapeno is definitely there, which imparts an earthy tone but it doesnt overpower in any way and leaves only a jettrail. In closing, a fairly refreshing offering that doesnt insult.
