Had this on 2017-09-28 in Warrenville, IL at their brew pub on tap
A - clear caramel with a one finger off white head and little lace
S - lightly toasted brown bread and caramel. Mild spice
T - toasted brown bread more caramel than the smell. It's a lot of malt flavor. Some nuttiness. Light earthy spice. Light to medium bitterness. Enough for balance.
M - medium body in late medium carbonation. Pretty smooth
O - reminds me of an Oktoberfest more than a traditional ESB but enjoyable.
