Extra Scary Beer (ESB)

My pint arrived with a frothy white head nearly flowing out of the glass. The beer appeared a dark brick color, though it was quite transparent. Loads of carbonation which added visual interest. Aromas of toast, grains, alcohol, fruit candy, and roasted malt. The taste was just incredible with brilliant flavors swirling around in my mouth. The beer starts off slightly bitter and quickly changes to a fruit-derived sweetness. Next, the sugary malt kicks with hints of fresh bread before giving way to a hoppy finish with a slight sour feel. I drank two oversized pints of this without a problem and would very much like to have it again.
