served on-tap, a dark ruby brown with nice clarity and a decent, quickly diminishing head that left nice lacing. subtle aromas of dark bread, molasses, and toffee with possibly some floral and citrus notes as well. taste was an almost indiscernable sweetness just for a moment upfront followed by a medium hop bitterness. finishes dry with an astringent quality. light/medium carbonation and mouthfeel. short/medium finish. this has just enough going on to leave you wanting more and overall a very sessionable beer.
