(Served in a tall mug)
A- This beer has a slightly hazy golden-yellow body with a strong carbonation of tiny bubbles and a mousse cream colored had that last a good while.
S- The yeasty note has a slight sweet hint of cream and a faint lemon zest note. There is an almost musty smell of earthy wet grain at the finish which is very nice.
T- The taste of slighty sweet honey malt gives way to a dry spice note and a lemon zest flavor that turns into more of a grapefruit tartness as the beer warms. There is a nice dry green hop finish that has a bit of a pungent spice note that lingers breifly after each sip.
M- This beer has a medium-full mouthfee with a dry texture at the finish.
D- This is a very nice saison and a good session beer. There past saisons have had to many hefewiezen qualities and this one is much better. Spice, fruit zest dry green hops its all in there.
