Pours a super dark brown / black with a small head thy retains well. The nose ha a lot of stuff going on - cherries, tons of cinnamon, cocoa nibs, vanilla, and bourbon. The taste follows the nose really well, which is really awesome. A lot of sweet chocolates are overtaken by some cherry flavors. Over the top of this is a really nice cinnamon flavor that is held in check by a touch of spicy heat. Finished with a bit of bourbon vanilla flavor and a lot of cherry. Really nicely done! Mouth is full and a little dry. This is one of my favorite styles and I can be a harsh critic, but I really enjoyed this one and would love to try it again.
