Sampled at Vices & Versa during their 3rd anniversary party.
Appearance: Perfect pitch dark (I'm no goth, and I'm pretty sure I've said this on some other review, but I just love jet black beers), with a half-centimeter of creamy head dancing on top.
Smell: Nutty, roasted notes, that made me think of toasted hazelnuts, or maybe even Frangelico. When it got warmer, the nuttyness was replaced by more classic coffee and cocoa bean aromas.
Taste: Toasted malt, I would have liked a little more "oomph" in the body, but it wasn't too light or watery either. Creamy carbonation, aftertaste is clean, no stale coffee bitterness or burnt on the palate, another Beer I really enjoyed.
