Moderately hazy, gold colour. No head. Effervescent. Red tinge.
Dark toffee aroma with notes of strawberry jam. Fairly one dimensional.
Not all that impressive. Very sweet with a possible note of diacetyl. Hints of strawberry tartness. Unfortunate note of burnt rubber. Probably an infection.
Medium body with moderately low carbonation. It could work if the beer was good.
It's a pity. Strawberries could be an interesting addition to beer. Unfortunately, Gulf hasn't pulled it off with this overly sweet, slightly infected ale.
