dark brown with a thick, off-white head of solid retention, and full lacing. Aroma is phenol forward with a spicy and sweaty quality, but no discernible roast. Taste is clove dominant and quite dry in the finish with some apparent residual sugar in the middle. Probably under-attenuated for a saison. Body is medium light with a fairly sharp effervescence. The darkness adds little

Listed as an "Imperial Saison" with some roasted malt and plenty of hops. A beautiful dark saison with massive flavor profile. Really impressed with the variety and quality of beers at this place.
