Notes: HAZY IPA is a juicy and balanced mix of citrus hops that bring out the aromatic characteristics of papaya and mango and finishes with a hint of ripe strawberries. At almost 6 pounds of hops per barrel, Hazy IPA is a hop bomb that delivers the bitterness without the bite.

12oz can. Poured out a hazy, golden color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It smelled of mango, orange and pineapple. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a subtle bitterness.

This is basically alcoholic orange juice. If you like the idea of a beermosa, get yourself some of this. I didn't get any of the subtler fruit notes here, just the dominant orange flavor. And it's think and juicy, as is typical of the style. There's a little bit of bitterness on the back end, but not as much as you'd find in normal IPAs. I liked this but I'm not sure I could do a six-pack.

On draught at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Pours a hazy orange gold with a firm half finger of foam, after things settle down.

Smells of grapefruit, mango, pineapple, somewhat dank.

The taste is good. Lotsa lovely tropical fruits on a base of grapefruit citrus. Toasted malt backbone. Juicy drop.

Slick mouthfeel and very enjoyable and drinkable. Cool, my first Great Divide in Casper.

Poured from a 16oz can with a canned on date of 6/21/19; into a pub glass.
Appearance- straw yellow, very cloudy from mid up and a little clearer on bottom allowing the many bubbles to show themselves. Head is a thick, soapy white that leaves levels of foamy lacing!
Smell- mango, cantaloupe and grapefruit!
Taste - the fruit blend of mango, cantaloupe and grapefruit stand out; there is plenty of herb and grass here too, providing some flavor depth!
Feel - IPA all the way, with nonstop bitterness, but no irritating after taste!
Overall- this is a great hazy...doesn’t have the typical NE IPA feel of dumping puréed fruit into an IPA, definitely IPA with a great fruit presence! I’d have this rated much higher, but the price is tough to swallow.

Visited the brewery while on a trip to Denver this week. This was a solid IPA. A bit frothy and nice balance of citrus. Would definitely try it again.

12 oz can, canned on 9/14/18. Pours medium hazy orange yellow with a huge frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet bready malts and fruity hops with a little resin.

The flavor is sweet bready malts with lots of fruit and some resiny hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nicely balanced NE IPA.

one of the busiest looking cans i have ever seen, looks sloppy, like a european league hockey jersey with all those advertisements all over it, who designed this? it looks terrible. fortunately, the beer is pretty solid, right on trend, almost smells and taste sweet enough to me to contain some lactose, but i do not believe it actually does. there is a creamed corn sort of vegetal sweetness in nose and taste, interesting, but distinctive to me, along with a mosaic hop cat pee thing and a bunch of fruitiness from pure guava to orange and pineapple, fresh and also unique, with a sturdy grain backing that has a real oatmeal complexion to it. the flavor matches the nose, a little strange at first with that corn thing, where the heck does that come from? it grows on me though so that by the end i like it pretty well. not as dry as it could be, but also not bitter at all for how hoppy it is, and really well carbonated which helps this be a little more drinkable than many of its peers. nothing life changing here, but a formidable entry into this increasingly crowded sector by great divide. someone just needs to rework the can art, yikes!

Had a pint at Old Chicago today with lunch for $5.75.

Beer poured a hazy gold with a nice white head that left some rings behind.

Nose was fresh citrus juice, very nice.

Taste was orange and mango juice forward with a kiss of pith in the finish to let you know this is an IPA.

Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and refreshing.

Overall this was a nice brew, good example of the NEIPA style. Would have again for sure!

Hazy grapefruit color, not murky, just wildly hazy, with an off-white head. Big citrus on the nose - grapefruit, oranges, juicy pineapple. Outstanding.

Taste has a dank component, but not overly so, significant grapefruit, the oranges, and loads of juicy grapefruit. Little bitterness at all. Excellent example of the style, IMHO.
