This is Great Divide's version of the mass-produced American lager that is becoming so popular these days. It's actually pretty flavorful, so I would have guessed it was made by a craft brewer. Nothing remarkable, but that's what this style is - good on a hot day, won't get you tipsy, and their description of "uncomplicated" is on the money.

Tastes more like a weak IPA than a true American Lager...Disappointed.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear amber color with a small white head. The head fades very fast leaving a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is light overall with a little bit of a bready and cracker smell mixed with some caramel sweetness. There is also a touch of herb and grass that round out the taste.
Taste – The taste begins with a slightly more caramel sweet bready flavor that has a little bit of a graininess. As the taste moves forward the initial flavors remain strong, but are joined by a light grain and herb. The mix of flavors take the taste to the end and leave one with a slightly sweeter, but simple and nice lager taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is normal. Overall the feel is decent for the sweeter and more moderate tastes of the brew and makes for a easy sipping brew.
Overall – Slightly more sweet but, nice and flavorful, and easy drinking. A well crafted and very drinkable beer.

Aroma is big husky/grainy malts and fruit/hint of lime. The flavor is grains/malts, fruit, a hint of lime and a slightly tart/mildly sweet/beery finish.
