12oz can, stamped 15 on the bottom. Pours transparent dark amber with a small beige head which fades to a thin strip. Smells of caramel, sweet malt, and oak; good intensity and complexity. The taste follows closely with malt, caramel, oak, and earthy hops. Some decent dryness. Below average carbonation and average body. Overall, it's a good Scotch Ale that stays fairly true to the style. Could have used some more caramel sweetness, but the oak was nice; it reminded me of a BA beer.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, alcohol, hint of roasted malt, and a hint of spice. Fits the style of a Scottish Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, alcohol, hint of roasted malt, hint of spice, hint of wood, and a hint of peat. Overall, good appearance, decent aroma, good body, blend, and complexity.
