First half of a 32oz grumbler of Crow Peak BA Baltic Porter, 8.6% ABV, 50 IBU. The place I bought this claimed it was bourbon and rum BA, but can't find info on this from the brewer as they only show rum or bourbon. Maybe a one-off small batch from this local brewery. Pours thick and black, with a half-finger tan head. Nose is bourbon and rum sweetness, malt, and a hint of coffee. Taste follows, with a bit of alcohol, and a slight bitter close. Well balanced, not showing the 50 IBU, and excellent mouthfeel. Not a strong barrel taste. Many would call this a stout as it is more robust than most porters. Overall outstanding.
