This deep brown colored ale has a strong malt character with a hint of roasted barley. There is a slightly detectable hop bitterness, but no hop flavor or aroma.

Thanks Scott. This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a brown color with a film of a little white head that fell off fairly quick. Light stringy lace. The aroma had some coffee, earthy hops, light roast and a little bit of dark chocolate at the very end. The flavor took all of the previously mentioned aromas and brought them together somewhat sweet to lead into the aftertaste and mildly into the finish. The feel was just a tad under medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected. Overall, good brown ale worthy of coming back to.
