A: The beer is black in color - when held up to the light traces of dark red are visible near the edges of the glass. It poured with a short off white head.
S: Moderate aromas of spruce are present in the nose along with notes of berries.
T: The taste is very intense and has lots of flavors of spruce with notes of berries.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a light to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting beer that has nice flavors of spruce and berries.

6/22....pours reddish brown with off white foamy lid. Spruce filled nose. Wintergreen. Malty vanilla flavor. Light spruce taste but low bite. Still sweet. Needs a little more bite.
