5.1 Decade pours a dark copperish color with a small lacing head. There is a harsh malty aroma, with small notes of hops. The taste is harsh, lots of harsh malts, and decent hop flavors at the end. Full flavors, full body, just a bit harsh. Overall a bold and balanced IIPA.
