This beer is a clear light copper color and it has a wispy pale head on it. There is a hint of raspberry color to the beer as well. The aroma is dominated by a strong raspberry note, and nothing else. The beer is pretty dry, which helps to keep the dominant raspberry note in check. There is also a slight acidity in the finish, which seems to be from the raspberries. This beer is certainly dominated by the raspberry notes, not much else here. If this was sweet I would most likely hate this as it would be too much with the raspberry and all, luckily it is just dry enough to be drinkable.

Usually, raspberries impart a tart/sweet combination that can work well in beers. In this case, they didn't. It does have a nice raspberry aroma and, it isn't a bad looking beer, BUT it tasted like a sweet raspberry soda. If you've ever had one of those Hansen's fruit sodas, then you know what this beer tastes like.
