Very dark with mocha soapy lacey head appearance. Medium mouthfeel. Coffee grinds, and smooth porter. Astringent at finish, and tongue tingling. Inbetween a regular and a Baltic.Hoppy, chocolate and mollasses. Roast, in the distant. I liked the hoppiness.

Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, Sweden. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head that lasts well. Dark malt smells of espresso roast, black fruit, red grape and dried chocolate. Flavors of black fruit, with some hints of chocolate, roast and tobacco. Especially impressed by the finish which lasts well. Excellent palate, livened by being bottle conditioned and/or unfiltered. I like these strong dry porters from Denmark.
