Copenhagen 27/10 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Gymnasievej, Køge. A feature in Braunsteins Dragonfly Brand with beers named after great rivers. Usual Dragonfly design with a Black label, a Dragonfly and this time a Blue area with Fishing tips.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patch of lonesome foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet and malty with a moderate sharp edge. Sweet, pale malts, light caramel, grains and bread. A little butter. Moderate sharp notes rummaging in the background.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light citric undertone. Lingers shortly.
Fairly generic, sweetish pale lager. Might be okay when sailing on the Blue River in pursuit of Rainbow Trout. But a bit boring when I sit at home om a sunday and ought to do the vacuuming.
