Appearance: clear dark amber color with reddish highlights on the glass edge. Nice 1" head lasted a bit, and some moderate lacing developed.

Smell: caramel candy and sweet fruits are easily noticeable.

Taste: nice combination of caramel, biscuit, hint of sweet plums, and a decent bitterness.

Mouthfeel: lightly crisp and dry from start to finish. The aftertaste was pretty clean, as only a hint of caramel lingers. Medium bodied.

Drinkability: Nicely drinkable, a clear session beer at Independence. An enjoyable offering worth trying.

This beer came a dark amber with a slight hint of orange. It was minimally foggy with a quarter inch of light tan head that left a beautiful sheet of lace.

Smelled like wheat bread and charcoal with a nectarine and pine hop.

Tasted of a light base of white bread, apple juice and orange rind with a bright and dry nectarine and pine hop. Finished very dry with a cedar-like sting.

The mouth feel was medium boded and almost chewy with a slight tingly carbonation. This worked splendidly with the flavors. Right on!

This was a little hoppy for the style, but still a very nice beer.
