355ml bottle served in a little hotel glass. Not sure, but I think the bottled on date is December 3rd, 2024, and the best by date is 31 May, 2025. Bought it at a little store in Utsunomiya that I don't know the name of.
Pours dark brown with a creamy, small head. Translucent. Smell is schwarzbier -- roasty, toasty, coffee, background anise sweetness.
Taste is roasty, chocolaty, medium roast coffee. Moderate chocolate sweetness, maybe a little bit of anise.
Mouthfeel is medium and light. This is a nice beer if you want a dark beer that's chill and not going to kick your ass.
