Another one of Birrificio Doppio Malto. I already tried their Mahogany IPA. I like what's going on in Italy. The italians with their artigianale/agricultura beers and their beer fests: that's a good development... So back to the Bitterland. First of all I like the significant bottles of this brewery, really long necked. The beer pours golden, little bit opalescent. A strong colour. Nice head, but disappears too quick. Aroma is of apples, pears and tart...also hoppy. Very lively and fruity on the palate, really delicious. This beer is good for the style, elegant and citrucy, notes of mango and tropical fruits, too...with a nice bitter finish. Even a little creamy. Easy 2 drink with its 5%ABV. For me, this is a good beer!

Light orange color, veiled, beautiful white foam.
Fresh, hoppy smell, lightly citrus, lemon peel, or maybe citron. After a bit of warming, some green apple.
Light malt in the taste, then a good iterness, fresh, citrus, citron.
Quite dry, definite bitterness, quit elong in the aftertaste, with again fresh citrus notes, lightly tart.
