Copenhagen 1/8 2018. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Kbh S. Some kind og Goat-man barking unhealthy-looking cake which seems to ooze Pentagrams.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a medium-sized head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick even layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense and sour. Unripe berries, citrus with sweeter notes of lemonade. Lighter notes of black pepper.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lively and fizzy texture. Yet soft.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by stronger sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sour with a little spicy pepper. Lingers shortly.
Nice soft Saison. Fresh, sour and perfect for 28 degrees.

Pours an unclear orange with fine, wispy foam.
Smell is fruity and slightly yeasy with notes of pears, peaches and the syrup canned peaches come in.
Taste is a bit more yeasty than the nose, but retains the peach and pear notes and adds in som green apples. Slight bitterness, and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a different farmhouse ale, with some excellent levels of flavor.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. Playing Avadon 3. Decent saison with peculiar profile that i suppose come from the quince but that are soft and dont hide the expected funk notes of the style
