Copenhagen 23/9 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh S. Drawing of Lady with high hair and puffy sleeves on the label.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with small white head. Settles as thin, patchy, flimsy layer of creamy foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is sweetish, citric and with a dry bitter vibe. Sweet pale malts. Citrus fruit and lemon. Acidic bitter edge giving a dry feel.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor has a light sweet ess followed by a fairly strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little harsh. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Quite fine, dry and bitter Pale Lager which does most of the things a South European Pale Lages does not.
