L: I bought it because of the label. It made a nice sound when I opened the lid. It has a golden red color and _lots_ of fluffy head. Saisons tend to be highly carbonated.
S: Basically, it smells like beer and wine. Either fermentation process is distinct, but the wine has more aroma--dry and red. The beer part is unmistakably a Belgian ale. Mid strength.
T: Barley, hops, fermented grapes. Actually really nice. I'm wild for the Belgian ale part of it, it's bitter and earthy and bites my palate in just the right spot--but I'm not so much of a wine drinker so half of it is going to miss the mark--it's still quite good and I am enjoying it.
F: Medium bodied, like an Irish Red. Dry, for sure. Lots of flavor, yet no spice, and the hops are absolutely lovely. The wine element increases the alcoholic warming and gives it some extra kick.
O: It's a solid pick. Rare as well, sure to raise some eyebrows.

From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Playing Gunman Clive. The wood notes are very subtle, hard to find, but the grapes profile is really notorious and pleasant

Poured from a bottle from the basement, into a stem tulip glass.
A - Marauding carbonation slices through a copper backdrop to pile miles high into a heavens reaching froth of off white.
S - Warm wet cedar, spiced with cinnamon, dark maple and warm honey, red grape skin, broad leaf tobacco and finally crushed walnut. Amazing.
T - Varies widely from the nose, wheat toast spread with late blossom honey to start, then musk melon, mashed with red wheat, overripe plum and finally a touch of pressed apple skin.
F - Medium in body, that carbonation is relentless, you that person, we all know that person relentlessly trying and in the end just fine. The palate is struck with a bit of sweet grains and autumnal reminders. Oranges and browns with a refined welcome.
O - This bottle was aged, and for that I am glad, with time the honey notes darkened, the base malts are spot on, with just enough bitterness to show the craft of the brewer. This is the last of the Sinners Series for me and I am glad to have postponed the Wrath.

I would agree with most of what is said in the previous reviews. I really enjoyed this beer. The woodiness and grassiness was unique I felt. The wood is not your typical oak either. Interesting and pleasant. Many faint background flavors to explore in this one. We have such high taxation on imported alcohol in Thailand however, that I won't be eagerly reaching for this one again, a bit too expensive. At 30% cheaper, yes then, I would.

Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at mrbubbler's tasting.
Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, earth, yeast, and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, caramel, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice mix of malt, caramel, and spice all around.
Serving type: bottle.
