Brewed for the Cheers to Belgian Beers, this saison was one of the top vote recipients in the People's Choice category. Hazy yellow body hard to see any visible carbonation. One finger white frothy head, medium dissipation with some lacing trailing down sides of glass. Some fruitiness, citrus, in the nose, with spices present. The taste is banana, clove, a bit of grapefruit peel, not much pepper or coriander, but the grains of paradise do give it a bit of spicy grit. Not really lemony ala Upright 7, the grapefruit gives it a more nuanced, fragrant profile. Full mouthfeel, good effervescence. Quite drinkable.
