Not as spicy as I expected! In fact, not spicy at all. Smells just like Pepsi. Definite vanilla notes here. Chocolate flavor. Solid stout, but definitely not my favorite.

Another terrific beer from Fort George!
Pour is blacker than onyx with a tiny brown head that scampers away like a frightened rabbit.
Chocolate dominates the nose, with perhaps fleeting caramel. There's also a note of freshly baked chocolate cake, or maybe brownies.
As I sip chocolate rides up front and finishes with raisins, espresso, slight bitter roast and a nice dry finish. The roast and espresso linger long after.
Mouth is just a touch thinner than I'd like but actually sort of lends to making this even more drinkable.
This is a nicely conceived brew. None of the flavors are so dominant that by the end of a pint you've experienced so many bold flavors you're ready to move on to something else. I'd happily have two glasses. In fact, I think I'll do just that.
