The bar I had this at had it listed as "Imperial IPA Sour", and the keg ring said 11th Sour. A Multiple Personality beer? Served in 12oz tulip. Poured a gorgeous medium-dark amber-gold color with about 1/4 inch of white head that had moderate retention and excellent lacing.

The aroma was far more subdued than I anticipated, malt upfront, soft hops, and a barely discernible funk. On the tongue though, there was a bold blast of flavors. Big, citrusy bitter hops, a solid malt foundation, and a bold, funky sourness at the back.

The body was fairly typical for an ImpIPA, a bit on the thicker side, which I prefer. Drinkability was very good, it's a sipper, not a gulper, for sure, but still went down easily. Overall, a very, very good beer. A must try if you see it.
