Can from Brewers Haven. Pours out a nice rich golden color with thick airy head. Piney hops with a bit of herbal aroma. Taste is also mostly hops, but not real big, more herbs than pine, but bitter enough. Light enough for summer drinking.

Cloudy gold with lots of floating chunks. Small white head that leaves quickly but leaves some nice lace.
Smell is dank citrus and pine.
Taste is Tropical fruit dank hops and a touch of pine. Malts are light but enough for the style.
Mouthfeel is light to medium and carbonation is light.
Overall a tasty beer with a good mix of hop varieties.
This is a one time collaboration so grab it quickly before it is gone forever!

-Color: Quite possibly my favorite part about this beer is the way it looks. Has a nice head on its shoulders. Its a bits lighter in color than most IPAs I’ve been drinking lately and it has some sediment in it as well.

-Nose: Grapefruit, a bit of hay, and a bit of yeast.

-Flavor: Nice and bitter the strongest suite of this beer’s flavor. Its not afraid of being an IPA you can taste the hops.

-Rating: 3/5- It’s an above average IPA and definitely changed my perception of collabs being a bad thing. Not as much juicy citrus as I would have hoped for but it does finish smooth and refreshing as you would hope for a summer IPA.

-Cheers!

Thanks to Ron for sharing this one at Wowcoolman's tasting.

Pours a murky gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus juice, candied citrus zest, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus fruit, candied citrus zest, and tea flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with nice citrus forward hop qualities all around.

Serving type: can.

L> Poured into glassware, the beer was a burnt gold color with just a bit of haze. Minimal head and lacing. Decent looking beer.

S> A bit subdued but still a decent bouquet from the hops that come across fairly earthy and dank on the nose.

T> Very lively on the tongue, a lot of flavors from the hops come through here with pungent, citrus, resin, pine, dank, and tropical flavors. Really impressive display from the hops going on in this beer.

F> Feels more full bodied than most IPAs from the PNW. It surprised me a bit at first, but ended up being quite enjoyable.

O> Overall this is a really good beer. Although the look and smell aren't overly impressive, this beer managed to capture some really good hop flavors. The combination of hop flavors is pretty unusual too. A lot of PNW IPAs have been hitting a lot of tropical and citrus notes. This years 3 way manages to touch on those flavors while delivering massive amounts of pine, dank, and citrus pith to the mix. If you're a hop lover, don't miss this year's 3-way IPA.
