Had a 10oz glass at Belmont Station. Deep amber/orange in color. White, foamy head with streak lacing. Aroma is citrus and caramel malt with some herbal and pine notes. Very bold flavor. Like a barley wine with a hops boost. Resinous mouthfeel, and a hoppy aftertaste that lingers on the palate. Still quite smooth, and enjoyable. An excellent beer overall.

Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium coppery amber with a thin off-white head that dissipates to patches with slight lacing. Big aroma of caramel malt, citrus and piney hops. Resinous hops kick in immediately, supported by deep caramel malt; citrus and pine resin with a little touch of dankness. Medium to heavy bodied with good carbonation and light creaminess. A big, bold triple IPA; as with most ales in this style, reminiscent of a hoppy barleywine, but the hops in this one grab your tongue at the start and never let go. The assertive hops are well supported by the malt and this is nicely balanced and smooth. Warming and deceptively easy to drink. A worthy celebratory ale from these experts in IPA.
