Somebody better update the BA listing -- this one is very much alive. A frothy head on top of a dense hazy, almost murky, pour. Strong tropical fruit nose. You get a lighter taste than you'd expect, almost dry. Strong hop bias, what malt base there is must be well down there. It is a good NEIPA offering, if a little one-dimensional.

Very cloudy straw appearance with white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a mild citrus. Taste is citrus but it falls off from the citrus aroma which is disappointing

Tropical/citrus scents (lemon?) with a creamy taste. Very even flavors with a bit of old dank so not trying to hard or hard enough? A safe swiller...but I should have put this under the proper batch version for 2019 (on bottom of can).

16oz can
Green and yellow can, picked up in on 11/28/17 and drank that same night.
Pours almost a finger of white head into my tulip glass. Dissipates rather quickly, but it has a firm edge to it - looks like I'll get good lacing. The body looks like orange cream soda. A very light shade of orange. Overall this looks nice. I was told it was a New England style IPA, and the appearance would definitely support that.
The nose is very sweet, and pretty juicy. Galaxy and Amarillo are two guesses here, smells great. A tiny bit dank underneath everything, but mostly mango, orange, and a big creamy undertone. Smells pretty darn good, I'm not a huuuuge fan of this style, mostly on principle, but I will try to grade accordingly. Definitely one of the sweetest/juiciest New England’s I've smelled, though, I don't try many, and I don't live in the North East.
The flavor is much more mundane than the nose. Some might call this smooth, but I think it's lacking the depth that the nose had. I mean, the first two thirds of the palate are relatively flavorless, a tiny bit of fruit maybe? Certainly some creaminess, and a zesty undertone, but those are the only definite flavors until the end, and then it finishes with some dank hop oils. Really just not enough going on here for me, it's smooth, and the finish is nice, but it needs more in the beginning. I won’t mind drinking this, it tastes fine, but it's not as good as it could be. The finish is doing a fair amount of work here.
Mouthfeel is ok, the carbonation is fairly low, but again, the zesty feel, and hop bite at the end are really pulling their weight. Without those, this would be lost for mouth and flavor. The body is smooth, but it's not terribly thick. Overall this is an ok feel, all things considered.
The drinkability is very high here, it's very smooth and it doesn't have any offensive flavors at all.
The appearance turned out pretty nice on this beer. The lacing was solid, and while the head didn't last long, the film looked particularly nice. I'm a sucker for hazy beer, even if I'm not a sucker for this style.
Overall this beer isn't bad, it just needs a little more flavor for me to really enjoy it.

Review and rating for Fields of Green - Francis.
Appearance is very hazy golden with a dense, creamy, white cap that shows good retention and excellent lacing. Pineapple and citrus aroma with matching flavors. Taste is initially slightly sweet pineapple but finishes with a mild dank bitterness.

Pours a very hazy orange juice color.
Smells like creamy fruit.
Taste is also creamy fruit, most noticeably orange and lemon that's on the sweeter side. The beer isn't a pure juice bomb though, it follows with a nice wet taste of leafy hops and it blends perfectly with the fruitiness. It's a tad bitter to make things interesting, but still maintains its sweetness and creaminess throughout the drink.
I only bought 1 can, but I wouldn't mind a couple 4 packs right now.

I really love the crap out of this. From its hazy, light amber opaque appearance, and sweet citrusy smell to its creamy orange taste this is a sensational N.E. style IPA. A beautiful white foam streaks line after line of lacing down the side of my beer mug. That creaminess combined with the carbonation makes this like an orangey beer punch. And that grassy finish is absolutely perfect in my opinion. I got one through Tavour and wish I had more. Definitely one of my favorite IPAs.
