Collaboration with Holy Mountain Brewing & Modern Times Beer
Among the swelling base and heavily hopped riffs, a uniting dissonance appears. Wheat and oats load in sustained distortion and vast amounts of feedback. From the juice yeast emerges an ethereal realm with suspended ambient fruit and lupulin resonance. Aromatic and resinous, the primal essence of Modern Times, Holy Mountain, and Fort George rises like a Monolith … no, make that a Triolith of IPA reverence. 3-Way IPA, reverbating across the Pacific Northwest starting June 2018.

Had at Vancouver Brew Fest Didn't have great appearance, but very good flavor, one of the better IPA's at festival. Cereal malt backbone, which mellows the hops. Rated 8-12-2018

This was part of a Tavour shipment for The CANQuest (tm) at one point, but between my already massive backlog & their local carrier's inflexibility, I parted ways with them. It was not really a big deal since I have plenty of beer on hand (CANned & bottled) so I will be fine without them. In the meantime, I am looking to close out the "Better Together" badge on sister site, Untappd. That one awards you one level per every five (5) collaboration beers that you check into. Right now, I am at 486 with this one as 487.
From the CAN: "India Pale Ale"; "This limited edition seasonal is a collaboration between Holy Mountain, Modern Times & Fort George"; "Unfiltered [-] expect sediment at bottom of CAN"; "Illustration: Patrick Long[,] Design: Plazm"; "Fort George [-] Distributed only in the Pacific Northwest".
I transcribed all of the previous before the Crack! of the vent & armed with that knowledge, I went with an extremely slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed beautifully to form just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with very good retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose was a mélange of grapefruit, tropical fruits & eucalyptus. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but on the approach. The taste opened with a riotous burst of PNW hops, exuding grapefruit and dank, sticky pine. This segued nicely into a pleasantly sweet interlude of tropical fruits before the grapefruit & pine returned with a vengeance. Finish was cool & dry, just the way I prefer. YMMV.

16 oz can at Hops & Bottles. Hazy, mily golden pour, small foamy head. Aroma is the norm for the style, citrusy. Wonderful feel tot his, mealy and juicy. Citrusy without too much tartness. Pretty solid (as expected)

I expected this to be better than last year's with Holy Mountain as a contributor, but it was a hair below on the nose and palate.

One can remaining from a trip summer 2018 and now zero...
White head settles to a thin cap, no lace or head retention.
Yellow pale color and its murky, real blaze haze. Murky like I just made a fruit slushy in the blender.
Juicy AF aromas, sweet tropical and 'bursting' with floral, wonderful sweet tropical fruits. Satisfying aroma.
Flavor is much of the same with a nice balance of sweet tropical and bitter grapefruit.
Really sad it was the last one and now seeing it is retired as well. Make more!

16 oz can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR.
$3.79
Pours a turbid/muddy/milky brown colour..small bubbly white head.
Very fresh fruity..aromas..orange peel, mango, papaya and peach.
Taste somehow more traditional PNW bitter..some dank and mint along with the pith.
Palate is very nice thick and smooth and not to cloying in the end.
OK but not that good to be honest...please can we start the end of this ghastly muddy beer trend?

Purchased at the brewery first weekend of Oct. An undated can. Odd. A very hazy, almost murky. Almost an apple-cider look to it. Light head and lacing. Ok, the nose is absolutely citrus / grapefruit which fades away. Taste is very refined, hop forward without being a bitterness bomb. Starts out with a jolt, then smoothes out to an earthy finish. For the intensity and ABV, the beer is dangerously drinkable. Not sure how long this one is around or how widely it is distributed outside of Astoria. If you find it before the end of the year, get it.

Appearance: Pours an exceedingly cloudy goldenstraw with a two finger head; decent retention and spotty lacing
Smell: Tropical and citrus fruit; dank, with a honeyed vanilla element; cantaloupe envelops
Taste: Guava, papaya, pineapple and cantaloupe, lead off, with with the citrusy tangerine bitterness building, through the middle and after the swallow; underneath, a honeyed vanilla element lingers into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Starts out in New England but makes a honey bee line for the West Coast
Thanks, PrynneCabin, for the opportunity
