Crystal clear dark amber, light ruby red. Nice off white head with exceptional spider web lacing.
Carmelized grain through and through. Toasted bread, spicy hops. Red Ale proper.
Flavor mirrors the aroma. Perfectly in fact.
Feels a bit light, kind of watery even. Robust flavors amp up the finish that is earthy and slightly bitter, and the carbonation seems a tad low. This does lack a little sweetness.
Overall, a decent red. Easy to drink, but nothing to write home about. Cheers.
