16 oz can- Pours extremely hazy with a medium large white head that holds a thin blanket. Aroma is citrusy, grapefruit, somewhat resinous, fruity. The taste is citrusy, grapefruit, lemon pie, dank and resinous with little bitterness. Very tasty stuff here.

Same melted butter appearance as we've grown accustomed to with Fields Of Green. Eleanor seems to have a much less impressive head, though still laces quite well.

Straight guava juice comes through in the aroma. A little pineapple too, but zero pine as with Desdemona.

The flavor is much more passion fruit than expected. Kind of sharp, almost even citric too.

It feels more intense as well. Bite, and the alcohol warmth seems more noticeable.

So far, my least favorite of the Fields Of Green line. Cheers.

On tap at Tin Bucket the other day.

The beer pours a murky, yellow gold color with so-so head retention and light lacing. On the nose there's a huge aroma of orange juice and pineapple juice, with maybe a hint of dankness as well. The flavor profile replicated the nose pretty closely, in what has to be one of the more juice forward beers I've ever encountered. There's virtually no bitterness in this beer, and it comes across as more of an alcoholic fruit drink than a glass of beer. Given the lack of bitterness, downing my 12 ounce glass was a chore. Alcohol was well integrated into the flavor profile I guess. It could have been anywhere between 6% and 9% and I doubt I would have been able to tell the difference.

Mehhhh... This is not one of the better NE style IPA's I've come across, and probably more than any other beer I've sampled, this is an IPA made for those who really don't like IPA's. There's no bitterness to speak of in the finish, and this really comes across as an alcoholic fruit bomb. Will not be ordering this one again.

I'm a huge fan of Ft. George beers, but IMHO, this is not one of their stronger efforts.
